RUBBISH & RABBIT GIRLS

The Kansas City Roil

Rubbish & Rabbit Girls

The Internet Archive listing for this piece credits it to RUBBISH & RABBIT GIRLS. The description labels it as rubbish, roil noise, and harsh noise captured specifically in Kansas City, MO. I first came across this many years ago, and digging it up again recently, I found it still hits the mark.

At the time, there was an email link on the page, no longer available, so I messaged Pat to tell her/him I enjoyed the composition. I was a bit surprised when her/him actually wrote back; most emails these days seem to go unanswered. Her/Him sent a nice note and thanked me for taking the time to reach out.

Speaking of replies, I suppose if I signed my emails "Paul McCartney," I’d get a higher response rate, but that’s of no consequence, really. Just thinking on paper.

That is essentially all I know about this piece, but I can guarantee one thing: if you need a shot of roil noise, listening to this track will top you off.
