The Marriage of Figaro tells the story of Figaro and Susanna, servants of Count Almaviva, on their wedding day. The Count, bored with his own wife, is pursuing Susanna, while Figaro is also pursued by Marcellina, who holds a contract requiring Figaro to marry her. Through a series of intrigues, mistaken identities, and clever schemes involving the Countess, Figaro and Susanna ultimately outwit the Count and get married.
