Quintron (born Robert Rolston on September 15, 1967) is an American multi-instrumentalist, inventor, and fixture of the underground music scene in New Orleans, Louisiana. Operating as a frenetic one-man-band, his signature sound blends garage R&B, psychedelic soul, distorted Hammond organ grooves, and analog electronic noise into a self-defined genre known as "Swamp-Tech".
The Weather Warlock:
A large, 7-foot weather-sensing synthesizer controlled entirely by nature. Outdoor sensors translate wind speed, UV sunlight, rain, and temperature into a shifting analog soundscape. Quintron launched the streaming platform Weather for the Blind to broadcast this real-time drone music to help individuals with sleep and circadian disorders
