Acousmatic Music | Jitter by Samuel P. Davies
An experimental piece composed using experimental techniques where one uses recorded sounds as raw material.
As I composed this piece, I realised I was doing it from prospective of someone’s mind. The sound of it processing information and dealing with different situation, in particular nervousness, thus the title Jitter. How would it sound if it overloaded? How does it sound when it’s under pressure?
With information coming from so many different directions, and often so quickly sometimes you just have to tell your mind to be quiet.
Originally composed for 8 channels (Loud speakers) this is a stereo Mix, full version can be send upon request.
